Historic Participation of Dariush Ghorbani in the World Motorcycle Championship with Support from Fastos International Group

This year, Iranian motorcyclist Dariush Ghorbani made history as the first Iranian rider to compete in four out of seven rounds of the 2024 World Motorcycle Championship, with the support of Nikran Motor and Fastos International Group. The championship featured multiple stages across different countries, including Round 2 in Austria (RED BULL ERZBERGRODEO), Round 3 in Serbia (XROSS), Round 4 in Romania (RED BULL ROMANIACS), and the final round (Round 7), 24MX HIXPANIA, held in Spain.
In the final round, 24MX HIXPANIA in Spain, Dariush Ghorbani, backed by Fastos Group, showcased a remarkable performance in an intense competition featuring 109 riders worldwide. He secured an impressive 18th overall position in the Expert Class and earned the prestigious Finisher medal.
This challenging two-day competition began with a time trial and main race qualification on the first day, followed by the second race on the second. The event was further intensified by harsh weather conditions, heavy rainfall, and extremely slippery mountainous and forested terrain. Each race lap covered approximately 6 kilometers, with participants striving to complete as many laps as possible within a 2-hour and 30-minute timeframe to achieve the best record.
Dariush Ghorbani’s historic participation in the World Motorcycle Championship and his outstanding performance mark a turning point for Iranian motorcycle racing on the global stage. His achievement highlights the immense potential and capabilities of Iranian motorcyclists in international competitions.
